ABOUT ME
Jordan Held, LCSW (he/him), is the President & Founder of Relentless Pursuit Therapy & Consulting, a concierge practice focused on complex clinical work with individuals, families, and organizations. His work centers on helping people navigate high-stakes, high-conflict situations—whether that’s within a family system, a business, or during major life transitions, while building more stable, functional, and sustainable ways of relating.
Jordan specializes in acute and chronic trauma, LGBTQ+ affirming care, and the kind of complicated family dynamics that don’t fit neatly into traditional treatment models. He often works with families in crisis, multigenerational systems, and young adults stepping down from higher levels of care, helping bridge the gap between intensive treatment and real-world integration. His approach is practical, direct, and highly individualized, with an emphasis on shifting entrenched patterns rather than just managing symptoms.
Through his consulting work, Jordan partners with families and organizations to address breakdowns in communication, leadership challenges, and systemic conflict. He develops tailored programming based on the specific needs of each client, offering a level of flexibility and responsiveness that goes beyond standard therapeutic models.
Jordan is also an internationally recognized speaker, known for his work supporting gender-diverse adolescents and their families. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Los Angeles LGBT Center and facilitates family support through JQ International and Transforming Family. He maintains affiliations with the National Child Traumatic Stress Network and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
In addition to his clinical and consulting work, Jordan has contributed to academic literature focused on gender and sexual minority youth, particularly at the intersection of trauma and resilience. He also provides consultation, supervision, and trainings for clinicians, schools, and organizations.
At the center of his work is a straightforward goal: helping people and systems get unstuck, function more effectively, and move toward something more intentional.
